UiPath Studio

UiPath studio is the platform that is used to design automation projects. There are three versions of UiPath studio as follows. 

• StudioX- It is the platform that can be used by business users or non-developers who want to automate the simple task for themselves or their team 
• Studio- It is the platform that offers the developers to design large and complex workflows using various activities available. 
• StudioPro- It is the platform that offers additional access to Application testing, RPA Testing, API test automation, and mobile automation.  

UiPath comes with two editions i.e. Community edition and Enterprise edition 

Community edition- UiPath community edition is the free version available for developers beginning their automation journey. When we use the community edition it automatically upgrades to the latest version available. So we if want to switch back to an older version of UiPath due to some reason we have to go for UiPath enterprise free trial edition or paid one. With the community edition, we get access to one unattended and two attended robots 

Enterprise edition- We have to pay for the UiPath enterprise edition or else a 60-day free trial period is also available. When we use the enterprise edition, we can easily switch to the old version of UiPath anytime. With the enterprise edition, access to the number of robots depends on the type of enterprise edition. 

UiPath Assistance-

It’s an application that allows you to view manage and schedule jobs. There are options available to start or stop jobs and change settings based on user input. It provides the following functionality.

• View running processes. 
• Pause, resume or stop a process.
• View all available processes.
• Download, update, start a process or even search for a specific one 
• Create reminders for a specific process to be executed. 

Orchestrator

UiPath orchestrator is the web application that enables the arrangement of Uiapth robots to execute repetitive business processes i.e execute, schedule, monitor, and manage the automation project. It is a centralized platform for all the robots to manage. It provides the following features 

UiPath Apps

UiPath apps is a low-code application development platform that enables users to build and share enterprise-grade custom applications using a simple drag-and-drop designer similar to the studio without writing any code. Using UiPath apps we can design our custom launchpad that aggregates data in real-time from multiple systems and publishes data to various systems including legacy ones through the use of robots. It builds on existing processes; we cannot build an app if we don’t have a process that is published and accessible on orchestrator. There are two parts first is UiPath apps which is the service used to execute apps and the second one is the tool used to design the apps. 

Document Understanding 

Document understanding is the technology using which we can train robots to understand, learn and interpret the various types of documents so that we can extract the information or keywords which are useful for processing. The document can be anything like a passport, invoice, receipt, or utility bill. Also, the document can be structured, unstructured, or semi-structured. Document understanding develops robots that can extract the required information from varying templates, handwritten documents, signatures, check boxes, skewed or rotated documents, and various file formats low quality scanned documents. Process Mining 

Process mining captures the digital footprints from any system and organizes them to show each step of the journey along with any deviations from the expected path. UiPath Academy-
